A 5.15am start on Friday 9th May saw BCfm engineers team up with BBC Radio Bristol for a tri-cast One Big Breakfast show with Pat Hart & Steve le Fevre alongside DJ Style & Nia with Tristan B and the team in the main studio. Then it was onto David Lloyd Health club to prepare for The One Love Party which was a sell out and massive success raising over £3500 for the Rio project and pushing the One Love Brand even further within the city. Bristol artists K*Ners, Kilaze,  Danielle Celeste & BBC The Voice contestant Celestine all performed alongside an array of guests including Lord Mayor Faruk Choudhury.

No sooner had the dust settled it was time for Station manager Pat Hart to run the Bristol 10K on Sunday Morning (11th May). No pressure, there was only about £1000 in sponsorship riding on the fact that Pat needed to complete the race in order to get the money for the Rio campaign.

BCfm were out in force to cover the race with live inserts being broadcast across the morning and an exhausted Pat being interviewed on the finish line. What a weekend and what a great representation for BCfm who the week before were the ONLY local broadcasters to be live from the amazing waterslide on Park Street .
