A football team representing BCfm & E-Com Media entered and won the Bristol Central Youth FC Funday tournament on Bank Holiday Monday 28th May.
Bcfm Radio’s Sport Saturday host Paul Davis commentated during the event which saw hundreds of people decend on Rose Green playing fields for the annual tournament that included children’s activities, food stalls and a childrens tournament too! The childrens winning team were called Wakanda and a number of former Bristol Athletic players teamed up with their former manager and BCfm’s CEO Pat Hart alongside actor Marcus Smith to compete in the seven a side tournament. They reached the final after a tense semi final penalty shootout. BCFM now plan to enter a team in the upcoming Our City refugee tournament on 16th June.
