BCfm has won two Gold awards and a Silver at the 2026 Community Radio Awards.
The awards were presented at the national ceremony in Birmingham on Saturday 24 October, in the year the Community Radio Awards celebrated their 10th anniversary.

Our winners
Gold – News, Journalism & Factual Storytelling of the Year: We Don’t Do That Here
Gold – Woman Presenter of the Year: Siva Gold
Silver – Specialist Music Show of the Year: Additions To My Collection
That means two awards in one night for Siva, which says a lot about the work she puts into her show every week.

What they said
Marcus Smith, Executive Producer of We Don’t Do That Here, said:
“Winning Gold for We Don’t Do That Here is a huge moment for BCfm and Ujima Radio, but it really belongs to the people across Bristol who trusted us with their stories. These are conversations that don’t always get airtime, and this award shows they deserve to be heard.”
Siva Gold said:
“Being nominated twice was already hard to believe, so coming home with Gold for Woman Presenter of the Year and Silver for Additions To My Collection feels unreal. The show started as a way to share the music I love, and seeing it recognised alongside my own award is something I’ll never forget.”
Rebecca Steers, Chair of the Community Radio Awards, said:
“As we celebrate ten years of the Community Radio Awards, it’s fantastic to recognise the people and stations who continue to make a real difference in their communities. These awards are a testament to the dedication, creativity and commitment shown by BCfm, and to the impact community radio has across the UK.”
THANK YOU
None of this happens without the presenters, producers and volunteers who give their time to BCfm, or without you, our listeners.
Thank you to Ujima Radio for working with us on We Don’t Do That Here, and to the Community Radio Awards and the UK Community Radio Network for a fantastic night celebrating ten years of community radio.
If you haven’t heard our award winners yet, tune in to BCfm and find out what all the fuss is about.
